SDK Benefits |
Designed for both CTI developers wanting to move into Java applications and Java developers seeking to integrate telephony connectivity into their solutions, the SDK provides an implementation reference for Sun Microsystems Java Telephony API (JTAPI), v1.3. Until now, applications developers have needed access to scarce and expensive PBXs to test their computer telephony integration (CTI) applications and JTAPI implementations. With the Netergy CTI SDK, developers can build vertical telephony applications right on any Solaris, Linux or Windows NT machine and test these applications against a complete Netergy iPBX phone system. This facilitates rapid development and testing of CTI applications such as:
Unified
Messaging - a Java application that would provide a single interface
for retrieving voice mail, e-mail, pager and other messages from diverse
systems.
Netergy
iPBX functions as follows:
A "virtual"
version of the Symphony Media Hub is included in the SDK so you may get
started right away. Order the physical 4-port VoIP Symphony Media Hub gateway
and SDK, available immediately for US$995. Click
here to order! Try
out the Netergy technology right away by installing the Solaris-Sparc
platform SDK version which includes the Virtual Symphony Media Hub!
Refer to the 8x8
Website to download other platform versions FREE.
The
Netergy CTI SDK v1.1b with a virtual Sympony Media Hub allows you to build
and test your CTI and JTAPI applications, immediately!
Note:
the difference between the Netergy CTI SDK v1.1b and IntraSwitch CTI SDK
v1.1 is simply a name change. In fact, the software still reflects "IntraSwitch"
references throughout, due to the timing of the v1.1b release.
A Netergy
CTI SDK v2.0 release, with added features and functionality, will be available
no later than June 2000. Please check the 8x8
Website regularly for updates to this SDK release.
